Pine Strawberry Firefighters' Association

Ten volunteers from the Arizona Burn Foundation, Pine Strawberry Firefighters' Association, local volunteers, and on duty personnel (as calls permitted) installed 47 smoke alarms in 17 homes while educating 30 residents.  In addition, one special smoke alarm for the hard of hearing was installed.  The alarms and kits were provided by the Arizona Burn Foundation.  Food was provided by Firefighter Bill Potter, who showcased his Third Place award winning meal from the Arizona Burn Foundation's Cook Like a Firefighter Contest in Fall of 2021.  This contest raises thousands of dollars annually to fund the Arizona Burn Foundation's many outreach programs.  To learn more, go to  https://azburn.org/.
